“My internship at The Henry Ford Museum has allowed me to take what I learn in the classroom at CMU, and use it to gain hands-on experience in the real world.”
What she does to be competitive in her field:
“I've been gaining as much experience as possible by completing summer internships, and also by working as a student writer for CMU's Public Relations and Marketing.”
Dream career:
“My dream career would be to work in the public relations department of a major corporation in Chicago.”
Suggestion to students interested in the journalism program:
“Study and memorize the AP style book. Also, remember that even the best writing can be improved.”
